Protecting your privacy is important to us, so we want to use this information to help you understand which of your personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, which processing procedures we carry out and what your rights are and how you can exercise them.

1. General

The main goal of the manager is to offer you a superior service and thereby achieve your optimal satisfaction. The controller collects and processes some personal data to enable faster and better adaptation to your needs and wishes, and provides you with more efficient communication and a better user experience.

The operator carefully stores and protects your personal data to prevent any unauthorized disclosure of data to unauthorized persons.

2. Personal data

According to the GDPR, personal data means any information relating to a specific or identifiable individual.

The administrator collects and processes only your personal data that you provided when signing up for a specific service (signing up for e-newsletters or by filling out a non-binding inquiry form). These personal data are: first and last name, company, telephone number, e-mail address and IP address.

If you provide information on behalf of someone else, you must ensure that they have been previously notified and familiarized with this privacy notice. If you are under 16 years of age, please provide personal information only if you have the permission of a parent or legal representative.

In order to keep the information up-to-date, the manager asks you to notify us of any changes to your contact information.

3. Protection of personal data

The manager uses and processes personal data on the basis of the applicable Slovenian legislation and the law of the European Union.

As a personal data controller, the operator respects your privacy and undertakes to carefully protect all acquired personal data and will not forward it to a third party without your consent or use it for purposes other than those for which the personal data were transmitted.

The personal data collected from you by the controller may be transferred to third parties, and it must be ensured that there is a legal basis for the transfer (your express consent or a legal provision).

All your personal information is stored on the secure servers of the controller or on the secure servers of the subcontractors or business partners of the controller (or in a secure hard copy), and the security policies and standards of the controller are applied when accessing and using it.

Although it is not possible to guarantee complete protection against cyber-attacks when transmitting data via the Internet or website, the controller, together with its subcontractors and business partners, makes great efforts to implement physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your data in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.

The administrator has limited access to your data to those persons who need it for the purpose in question.

4. Time of retention of personal data

The retention period of personal data depends on the basis and purpose of processing each category of personal data. Personal data is kept only as long as it is prescribed or permitted and necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected or further processed. Personal data are deleted, destroyed, blocked or anonymized after the purpose of the processing has been fulfilled, if there is no other legal basis or if this is necessary for the assertion, implementation or defense of legal claims.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

• you request that the controller provides you with further details about how the controller uses your data,
• access your personal data and copies of the data you have provided to the controller,
• you receive the personal data that you have provided to the controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable form, and the right to transmit this data without hindrance to another controller, when this is technically feasible, if the processing of your data is based on your consent or a contract and performed by automated means,
• request the controller to update any inaccuracies in the data it holds,
• you request the controller to delete all data for which it no longer has a legal basis,
• where the processing is based on consent and in relation to any direct marketing, you revoke your consent with effect for the future so that the controller ceases said processing,
• you object to any processing based on legitimate interests due to your particular circumstances, unless the controller’s reasons for said processing take precedence over any interference with your data protection rights,
• you ask the controller to limit the way it uses your data, for example while investigating a complaint.

Regarding the exercise of these rights, certain exceptions apply when protecting the public interest (e.g. prevention or detection of criminal acts), the interests of the controller (e.g. ensuring the protection of confidentiality) or the rights and freedoms of others. If you exercise any of these rights, the controller will check your eligibility and respond without undue delay, but no later than within one month. In complex cases or when a large number of requests are received, this deadline can be extended for a further two months, which the operator will inform you about.
